There is a window in the house with a vast view of the exterior world.

Penny, the dog, sits there everyday.

She watches as the birds fly by.

The squirrels scurry through the trees.

Cars zoom back and forth.

People walk their dogs.

Penny protects the house from these things.

She Barks and Barks and makes sure they never come near.

But, sometimes, when Penny looks out,

she wishes to do more than just protect from behind the glass.

She sees the outside world,

And she wishes to run free.

The thought of sneaking out and exploring the world sometimes passes through her mind.

But, she knows she doesn’t need to.

She has her Pack.

Her Family.

Together, they are complete.
